Empowering Indigenous Peoples' Economic Development through International Trade
Dear Fikia Family:
This year, the World Trade Organization's Informal Working Group of Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSME), in collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Trade Centre (ITC), invites you to be part of a transformative initiative.

Why does it matter?
Indigenous Peoples, with a rich cultural heritage, represent 5,000 cultures, speak 40% of the world's languages, and play a crucial role in conserving 80% of the world's remaining biodiversity. Despite this, their rights are often insecure, leading to conflicts and hindering economic and social development.
How can you make a difference?
If you are an organization supporting trade by Indigenous Peoples, an NGO empowering small businesses, or a small business from an Indigenous community, you can become a Small Business Champion!
