Applications are now open for the Women in Africa (WIA) 54 Programme 2024, in collaboration with Société Générale, and this year, there is the "Responsible Entrepreneurs" competition. This initiative aims to recognize and support African women entrepreneurs who are making significant contributions to their communities through their businesses while prioritizing social, economic, and environmental impact.

If you're a woman entreprene

ur based in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, or Senegal and have been running your business for at least a year, we invite you to apply. Here's what you need to know:

Competition Requirements:

- Found and run a business in one of the four target countries for at least one year.

- Have integrated a CSR program within your company, demonstrating positive results.

- Show commitment to expanding CSR impact at the Pan-African level.

Evaluation Criteria:

- Submission of a complete CSR report during the call for applications, detailing initiatives and results.

- Demonstration of the positive impact of the CSR program within the company.

- Affirmed ambition to extend CSR impact on a Pan-African scale.

Program Highlights:

- Training: Selected participants will undergo intensive online training over six months, from June to December 2024, covering essential entrepreneurship skills.

- Networking: Through Société Générale's extensive network, participants will have networking opportunities at national, Pan-African, and international levels.

- Mentoring and Visibility: A personalized mentoring program will be provided, along with a dedicated communications plan to promote participants' successes and initiatives through WIA media.
